BURLINGTON ONTARIO & AREA LIVE MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT JUNE 8- 14TH 2026

We certainly have an interesting week ahead of us

There are two big festivals happening in Burlington Ontario, one this weekend and the other coming the in 2 weeks on 21st of June

These are both replacing the Burlington Sound of Music and it looks like they have both made a catastrophic mess organizing and promoting themselves before they even get started

This week it's the Nashville Takeover Country music extravaganza starting Friday but where ?? They wont say, It's supposed to be at secret locations all over the city. And for the lineup they wont say who is performing or even at what time ??  

The website just says send us your money and they will send you the details !

What on earth are they thinking ?

Then coming up from June 21st to the 22nd, theres the Lakeshore Festival which is at Spencer Smith Park. They have the band lineup posted on their website but no time schedule so theres no way you know when to go to see your favourite band.

Burlingtons exceptional singer songwriter Hayley Verrall and her band will be there and everybody should go out and hear her but what time ?? 

Walk off the Earth and the Trews are playing and they are top of bill but no performance times !!!

If anyone knows what the performers dates and times are for either of these festivals please let me know. I will happily update my list. If theses a website or social media post I've missed that shows it point it out to me.

Burlington Ontario Music events May 25th to 31st 2026

Here is my list for live band music events going on around  the Burlington Ontario area for the week of May 25th to May 31st.   Friday at 8pm at the Moonshine in Oakville they have Eugene Ripper who is a Canadian punk folk music pioneer. It's Blues Rockabilly, spoken word beat poetry, you can’t fit Eugene into one genre but he is entertaining Friday night the warm weather will hopefully be here to marks the start of outdoor shows at Chudleighs Entertainment Farm. You went for the apple picking now you can go for the Fleetwood Mac Mania tribute band at 9:30pm and more great shows all through the summer. The list gets longer every week, over 110 events now ! BURLINGTON & AREA LIVE MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT MON JUNE 15 TO SUN JUNE 21 / 2026

The big news this week is the Lakeshore Festival taking over from the Burlington Sound of Music festival.  The new Lakeshore Festival will be running only Saturday and Sunday instead of the BSOM which ran Thursday and Friday as well.  Running only over the weekend would seem to be an obvious way to make the festival profitable by cutting out the expenses of those two extra days. There's been a lot more promotion going on behind the scenes too.
